Member-Created Content and Code of Conduct Policy

Effective Date: May 15, 2025
Applies To: All contributions made to AI Metrologist, LLC platforms, including websites (aimetrologist.com), forums, documents, collaborative tools, and digital content submissions.

Code of Conduct & Online Forum Policy

The AI Metrologist community is a professional, collaborative space where members are encouraged to share knowledge, ask questions, and foster innovation in metrology and measurement science. To maintain a respectful and inclusive environment, this policy outlines expectations regarding the use of language, particularly profanity, across all online forums, comments, and member interactions.

1. General Policy on Profanity
  • Prohibited: The use of profanity, vulgar language, slurs, or obscene expressions is strictly prohibited. This includes language that is:
    • Offensive or disrespectful
    • Sexually explicit or suggestive
    • Racially, ethnically, or culturally insensitive
    • Aggressive, threatening, or abusive
  • Censored Profanity: Use of asterisks, symbols, or partial spellings (e.g., “s**t” or “f#@k”) to circumvent profanity filters is also prohibited.
2. Professional Communication Standards
  • Members are expected to communicate using respectful, constructive, and professional language at all times.
  • Technical disagreement or debate is encouraged but must remain civil, without resorting to inflammatory or profane language.
  • If frustration or strong emotion needs to be expressed, members are encouraged to do so respectfully and with care.
3. Moderation and Enforcement
  • Posts or comments containing profanity may be:
    • Edited or removed by moderators without notice
    • Flagged for review by the community or moderation team
  • Repeated or severe violations may result in:
    • Temporary suspension of forum privileges
    • Permanent removal from the platform
    • Revocation of community membership or contributor status
4. Appeals and Disputes
  • Members who believe their content was wrongly moderated may submit a written appeal to the forum administrators.
  • Appeals must be respectful, provide context, and demonstrate a clear understanding of the forum’s guidelines.
5. Commitment to a Safe and Inclusive Community

By participating in the AI Metrologist online forum, members agree to uphold the values of integrity, respect, and professionalism. The zero-tolerance policy on profanity supports our shared mission to advance measurement science in a welcoming and collaborative environment.

Contributor Policy and Guidelines

Content Ownership and License Grant

  • By submitting content to any AI Metrologist, LLC platform, members acknowledge and agree that:
  • All submitted content becomes the property of AI Metrologist, LLC, and its subsidiaries upon submission.
  • Members grant AI Metrologist, LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, publish, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from the content in any format or medium, including for commercial purposes.
  • This license includes, but is not limited to, incorporation into training materials, publications, promotional campaigns, and software or digital applications developed by AI Metrologist, LLC.
  1. Attribution
    • AI Metrologist, LLC may choose to credit contributors at its sole discretion but is under no obligation to do so.
    • By submitting content, members waive any moral rights related to attribution unless a separate written agreement is established.
  2. Revocation and Content Removal
    • Members understand and agree that they waive any right to revoke the license once content is submitted.
    • AI Metrologist, LLC retains the sole discretion to retain, edit, or remove content at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
    • Requests for content removal by contributors will be reviewed but are not guaranteed to be honored.
  3. Accuracy, Liability, and Use of Content
    • Member-contributed content reflects individual perspectives and does not necessarily represent the views of AI Metrologist, LLC.
    • While content may be moderated, AI Metrologist, LLC makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of any member-created content.
    • Content is provided “as-is” for general informational purposes and should not be considered technical, legal, or professional advice.
    • Use of member-created content is at your own risk. No warranty is expressed or implied.
  4. Commercial Use and Derivative Works
    • AI Metrologist, LLC may use member-submitted content for commercial and educational applications without compensation to the contributor.
    • This includes inclusion in paid training programs, certification materials, partner collaborations, white papers, and digital platforms owned or licensed by AI Metrologist, LLC.
  5. Community Forum
    • This policy applies to all community forum posts, replies, shared resources, and uploaded materials on platforms managed by AI Metrologist, LLC.
    • Members are expected to contribute responsibly and respect the intellectual property rights of others.
    • By participating in community forums, users consent to the use, reuse, and redistribution of their content under the terms outlined in this policy.
    • AI Metrologist, LLC may moderate, edit, or remove forum content to maintain a respectful and informative environment.
    • Forum content may be highlighted or repurposed for educational or promotional purposes, with or without attribution, as outlined in Section 2.
